Mehek Gidwani is a psychotherapist with a Master’s in Counseling, specializing in Addiction. Mehek entered addiction recovery at age 19 and has been abstinent from drugs and alcohol for 14 years. She has led workshops on substance use at several International Schools in Hong Kong, the Education University of Hong Kong, and the IRIS Wellness Festival. Her recovery story was featured in The South China Morning Post, the Stories of Recovery Documentary, and several podcasts. As a former Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Yoga-Informed Recovery Coach, Mehek is passionate about bridging eastern and western healing approaches. She has a remarkable capacity for connecting with others, the gift of eloquence, and a kind and calming presence.
